A beautiful day and Innisfree Garden is open for the season.
There is not much left of the house that once looked over the lake.

Such a welcome opener to my day bringing happy memories of enjoying its natural wonders large and small. I was thinking of the bull frogs and their croaks yesterday when maybe u were posting this. I was at nature class learning about aquatic creatures. It certainly is a place for beauty and reflection. Thank you to those who bequeathed it and now keep it going. Grateful to have enjoyed their legacy and look forward to doing so again this summer.
Nice shot of the view through the knothole of the covered bridge. I’d be interested in seeing a view of the covered bridge itself, if you have one.
I don’t have a pic of the covered bridge. But I will take one on the next visit. (It’s really a covered walkway over a swampy bit.)
My Dad worked there for many years in his retirement before he passed. I’ve never been. Thank you for the pictures. 🙂
That’s so interesting about your dad. And maybe – time to make a visit!
