Innisfree Garden

A beautiful day and Innisfree Garden is open for the season.

The first look.
The first look.

There is not much left of the house that once looked over the lake.

The view of the lake through the knothole in the covered bridge.
A favorite spot.

  1. Such a welcome opener to my day bringing happy memories of enjoying its natural wonders large and small. I was thinking of the bull frogs and their croaks yesterday when maybe u were posting this. I was at nature class learning about aquatic creatures. It certainly is a place for beauty and reflection. Thank you to those who bequeathed it and now keep it going. Grateful to have enjoyed their legacy and look forward to doing so again this summer.

  2. Nice shot of the view through the knothole of the covered bridge. I’d be interested in seeing a view of the covered bridge itself, if you have one.

  3. My Dad worked there for many years in his retirement before he passed. I’ve never been. Thank you for the pictures. 🙂
