This fifteen word mission statement is a adaptation of the mission statement that was adopted by the Board of Trustees in June 2007.
The addition of “global” reflects the recognition of the increasingly connected world in which we and our students live.
The word “leading” reflects the aspiration that our program is designed to enable. Poughkeepsie Day School graduates have the experience, capacities and skills and aptitudes to make a positive contribution to the world and to lead by example and inspiration.
